      研究内容

      1. Outlines/Features of Research Chitin nanofibers are prepared from crab shell waste. Chitin nanofibers are 10 nm thick thin fibers and show high dispresion property in water. They have efficient biological properties when we apply them for skin or oral administration to improve our health and beauty.
      2. Differences with Conventional/Competitive Technologies Chitin nanofibers have efficient biological functions. These properties are advantageous over cellulose nanofibers. Chitin nanofibers can disperse in water and showed higher moldability than conventional dry chitin and chitosan.
      3. Expected Applications Cosmetics, medicines, healthcare products, functional foods, oral care, hair care, fertilizers, food additives and so on.
      4.
